VCU Rams that Ride is our team composed of people who support the VCU Medical Center and Virginia commonwealth University. The VCU Neurology Department has a level 4, Comprehensive epilepsy Center designation, and VCU epileptologists, EEG technologists, neurologists, nuses, physician assistants and Neurology Residents care for thousands of adults and children with all types of epilepsy.
We have dedicated support staff to provide evidence based, compassionate, patient centered, safe care for all of our patients. In the second year of the Tour de Midnight epilepsy bike ride, we remember 2 of our pioneering epileptologists who cared for so many patients with epilepsy: Dr. Steve Corrie and Dr. Jack Pellock.
We ride to promote awareness and safety, and to raise funds for investigations into the prevention, causes, and treatments of this multifaceted, often debilitating nervous system condition. Ride on, Rams!
