Thanks for visiting our fundraising page!!! Peter and I are excited to attend the 2nd Annual Saint Joseph School 5k Walk Run and Fun event!
On May 21st, we will be walking a 5K at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, MA to benefit Peter's school, The Saint Joseph School. This is Peter's first year at the school and he has had had a great year there. As some of you may know, it was Peter's idea to spread his wings and try out a new school this year. His classmates have been so welcomoing and we are looking forward to doing this walk with the community, please help us reach our fundraising goal!!
Saint Joseph School is a wonderful school in Wakefield, MA committed to producing graduates with the character, integrity, knowledge and skills necessary for high achievement in secondary school. At Saint Joseph School, the instruction is purposeful, engaging, and relevant. A culture of positive relationship building and personalization within the school and the parish community encourages and supports self-reliance and problem-solving for success.
This 90-year-old tradition of academic excellence could not continue without adequate financial support. As a Catholic elementary school, Saint Joseph School relies heavily on private support. The 2017 5K Walk Run and Fun is a core fundraising event for our community and an expression of the parish and community’s support of our school.
Year after year, the generosity of alumni, parents, parishioners and friends has helped Saint Joseph School become what it is today, and will help Saint Joseph School continue to meet the intellectual, physical, social and spiritual needs of its students.

Saint Joseph 2nd Annual 5k Run & Fun
Come join us on Sunday May 21st from 10AM - 2PM for our 2nd Annual 5K Walk Run and Fun!!
The event is an effort to support the Saint Joseph School community.
WALK: Register for our stroller friendly walk (10:40 start time)
RUN: Register for our 5K race! (10:20AM start time)

Come meet tons of local businesses and members of our community that are dedicated and focused to promoting a healthy way of living. From massage, to exercise, to nutrition, to healthcare, to food, to play, we’ve got it all!
Aside from the morning race, there will be organized play and other fun and games for the kids to enjoy – and a few live class demos for the kid in everyone!
Throw on top of this food, raffles and prizes, this is one event you don’t want to miss!

Saint Joseph School offers a multitude of opportunities for students to further develop their athletic and social skills. The school has a girls and boys basketball program for students in grades 5-8. School field trips, retreats, environmental programs, cultural arts and family events help the students to experience and appreciate the world around them.

Saint Joseph School strives to ensure that its students believe and live the Goodness of God with all persons they encounter. Formal religious education classes, Monday morning praise & worship, sacramental preparation and annual retreats ensure that the students understand that their Christian faith is at the core of their education and their life. The Middle School includes a service program, which enhances the student's Faith development through the active service of others.
