Pictured is Fred and my son Gabriel. All Flyered up! Tracey and Gabriel will also be walking with Laurie Harris!

So I have had some health issues for the last few years. My Heart is not where it should be. Oh the location is fine but due to the radiation to my chest and Chemo (to my whole body including my heart) I have to really struggle to be healthy (I need a lot of motivation). So Fred Harris asked me to join him on the charity ride for the Philadelphia Flyers. I said sure!

"All the money raised at the Flyers Charity Classic will go towards Flyers Charities and the Flyers Alumni Association, both of which support various non-profits in Philadelphia and the surrounding area."

I am a Flyers fan and follow them because of Frederick Harris and Sean Greene and because I am a fan of all the Philly teams because I grew up in Delaware and PA, lets forget about the Virginia part ( but not my DC friends!). I am now in the Philly suburbs.

Sean GreeneFrederick Harris and so many others supported me in my cancer battle as well as my effort to fund LiveStrong to improve the availability of treatment for Cancer when they do not know where to go.

So I am supporting Frederick Harris in his charity ride as he supported me. I am riding in the Flyers Charity classic. Please support us in raising money for the Flyers foundation for al the good they do for the Philly community.

Please donate and help out a great cause for all of us.

Thanks to all who have supported me in the LiveStrong Challenge! Please support me here for the next great challenge!

I've registered for the 2017 Toyota Flyers Charity Classic Run Walk Ride event to benefit the Flyers Charities and Flyers Alumni Association. The event will take place on July 16 beginning at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

For over 40 years, Flyers Charities has raised more than $30 million to support a multitude of worthy non-profit organizations across the Greater Philadelphia Region that provide educational and recreational resources to underserved youth, engage important medical and healthcare research, and positively influence the community. These organizations include the Center for Autism, the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Fox Chase Cancer Center, Liberty USO, Mission Kids, PAWS, Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia, and Simon’s Fund.

Founded in 1984 as the Philadelphia Legends, the non-profit Flyers Alumni Association has raised approximately $14 million for a variety of charitable, civic, educational, and other worthy causes that directly benefit those in need throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area, including St. John's Hospice, Ronald McDonald House Southern New Jersey, March of Dimes, and Junior Achievement of Delaware. In 2016, the Flyers Alumni announced a new initiative to honor the late Ed Snider by building a new community ice rink. Working together with the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, the Alumni have pledged to raise $2 million toward the construction and completion of what will be called the Edward M. Snider Ice Rink.

I hope you'll consider making a donation of any amount to help me reach my fundraising goal! You can learn more about this great event at www.PhiladelphiaFlyers.com/CharityClassic.

Thanks so much for your support!
