Thanks for visiting my Hungry Lion Bike Tour fundraising page. On September 30th I will be riding my bike with my dad and brother and our friend Finn and his mom and my other friend's dad! I was too little last year, but I can do it this year. I've biked 15 miles before, so I think I can do ten!
I'm doing this event, because I want to raise money for the Lions so they can buy a bunch of groceries to give away to people who need some help. My mom is in the club and last year my brother and I volunteered to buy some of the groceries for the project and our car was SO FULL!
I want to beat my brother and raise $600, so anything you give will help me win and give money to the Lions. Any amount is awesome, so I'll take anything! Seriously! Even a dollar!
Thank you,
Talia
Here's information from the Lions: The primary purpose of this event is to fight hunger in southern Vermont. Every December the Lions team up with the local Rotary Club to hand deliver and fill the cupboards for hundreds of people in the Deerfield Valley of Southern Vermont with nutritious food staples. For the last three years HLBT has also generated enough funds to write generous checks to the local food bank as well.
Your contribution can make a difference! Thanks so much for your support. I appreciate it and so do a large number of folks in Vermont!
