A GIFT OF LIFE!
Thanks for visiting my Hot Chocolate Run fundraising page! On December 5, I will be walking in this year’s Hot Chocolate Run to benefit Safe Passage. This great event raises funds for Safe Passage, an organization in Northampton, MA that provides comprehensive, free services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
There is no fundraising minimum for this event, but I feel that there is no minimum to the amount of support that those of us with safe lives should provide to those women and children in need of protection and support.
I hope you’ll make a donation and help me support this incredible organization. All money raised goes to support Safe Passage’s counseling, advocacy and shelter services, and all contributions are tax deductible.
In Hebrew, the word for life is chai. According to Gematria (a system of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase), the letters that make up the word chai add up to the number 18. For that reason, a gift of $18 is symbolic as giving life. I am asking you to consider donating $18 to my fundraising efforts. Your gift of chai could mean a better life for a woman who has suffered from domestic violence.

Thank you so much for your support!
