Team Pasternak
I made a commitment last year to get healthy and live a healthier lifestyle. It's been a rough year but the start has been made. This race will be number 16 and my last due to knee issues. I've decided to go out with a bang and make it a family affair. My cousin Cheryl has been by my side for all of my races, my eldest son joined me for the Olesak 5K in March and running has become one of his passions. He is a Senior in HS and joined the Cross Country team at school and challenges himself at Spartan Races (He just earned his 1st Trifecta! Aroo Eric!). Now it's time for the rest of the family to get a taste of the race. Maybe the bug will bite them like it did Eric! We're doing the 5K Fun Run as my knee issues have progressed to the point of constant pain and pressure which injections do not help. BUT I'm out there and now my family will be too. See you all there!!

Safe Passage
Safe Passage is the organization in Hampshire County building safety, hope and justice for families who have lived with domestic violence. Adults and kids come to Safe Passage for a variety of programs: an emergency shelter, counseling and support groups, legal advocacy, and so much more. We also work to prevent domestic violence before it happens through our community engagement programs. We hope you'll join us in our work by making a donation! Learn more at our
