When you are lucky enough to live for another year, you want to help those you can.  In cherishing this year we are looking to help those in need of a seizure dog to gain more independence in life as they battle Epilepsy.  We are doing this through EFVA as they are a great source of support, knowledge and information to all those battling Epilepsy and trust and value the work they are doing.

Have a day of great sport and good exercise and help promote the USE A HELMET PREVENT EPILEPSY campaigns. 
This event also supports the many programs the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia has for direct assistance as well as dispelling the myths about epilepsy. Please com and support this great event. 

EFVA's mission is to PROMOTE AWARENESS about epilepsy, ADVOCATE for and PROVIDE ASSISTANCE  to Virginians with the disorder through: 

• helplines, regional offices and peer counselors statewide.
• annual awareness days and awareness strolls.
• training for employers, school personnel and public service employees.
• emergency assistance and transportation.
• Spanish speaking offices.
• Family Fun Days and Virtual Support Groups. 
• Memory Courses
• Grants for service dogs and bicycles
