Race to Save the World Enoch Lee #3 Trail Creek Outfitters Series
This fundraising site has been set up to coincide with our fourth annual "Race to Save the World - Enoch Lee Memorial Run" which will take place on April 21, 2018 in Newark, Delaware. The "Race to Save The World - Enoch Lee Memorial Run" was started four years ago following the tragic death of Enoch Lee. The race was conceived by friends of Enoch and it takes place in the woods adjacent to Enoch's home. Enoch's family continues to live in the home and the race is a celebration of Enoch's life. The Enoch Lee Memorial Fund has, to date, benefited scholarship recipients at Enoch's high school alma mater, Newark High School, and his college, the University of Delaware. It has also donated funds to Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder where Enoch spent time volunteering. Enoch's family is hoping that they will soon build a school in Enoch's memory as part of their missionary work.
The Enoch Lee Memorial Fund administered by Velo Amis
The Enoch Lee Memorial Fund was set up by Velo Amis to honor Enoch Lee's memory. We believe that Enoch Lee's family will continue to have a positive impact on the world in Enoch's memory. Enoch touched so many lives, and his family continues to keep his memory alive by directing funds to individuals and organizations that were important to Enoch. Enoch's family hopes to be able to fund a school in Enoch's memory. Velo Amis makes this possible through its non-profit organization which is located in Newark, Delaware. Velo Amis grew out of a passion for the sport of bicycle racing and has evolved to include the sport of trail running. The mission of Velo Amis is two-fold and includes not only advocating and supporting local cyclists but also supporting other non-profit organizations, individuals and causes that are important to members of our local cycling and running community.
