Your registration fee goes straight to Less Cancer, and you can also ask friends and family members to donate to the cause as well. Our goal is to raise money and raise awareness to make real change in the cancer community and make prevention a priority.
The Less Cancer Bike Ride America - June 5 to July 5
This summer we’re getting back on the road with the Less Cancer Bike Ride America.
What better way is there to celebrate "hope on the horizon" as we navigate vaccines and solutions for Covid-19 than to connect for a great cause, wherever you are. Since 2012, the Less Cancer ride has evolved from a few excited, dedicated advocates into a burgeoning community of cyclists who are powering change in the way the world looks at and responds to cancer.
Your registration fee for the ride goes straight to the Next Generation Choices Foundation, a 501c3 public charity widely known as “Less Cancer.” This is the organization that produces the National Cancer Prevention Workshop, which educates the general public, policymakers, legislators and health care providers on a global scale. Less Cancer is also the founder of National Cancer Prevention Day—and initiated the United States Bipartisan Congressional Cancer Prevention Caucus.
Grassroots efforts like the Less Cancer Bike Ride America are what fund all of Less Cancer’s initiatives. Our goal is to raise money for our extensive programming for cancer prevention and to make real change on the cancer landscape. We need your help to make this happen.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A SEASONED CYCLIST TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RIDE.
You can ride as little or as much as you wish. You can ride indoors on a stationary cycle or outdoors on your favorite trail. Some riders will be adding up their miles during the month-long challenge, while others will ride once for a few hours. This is an opportunity to get together outdoors with friends and family (using best practices to stay safe from Covid-19) for an important cause.
Thank you for joining in to help with the transformative work of Less Cancer.
Should you have any questions or concerns please reach directly out to [email protected] or call or text him at 540-270-4587.
Stay tuned for more details, route maps, registration, and a whole lot more to make your weekend and ride unforgettable...and your contribution to the cause as exciting as the ride itself!
