This is my fifth year participating in the annual Will Bike 4 Food and it will be the third time I've done it while volunteering at the partner organization, the Amherst Food Pantry. Welcome to my fundraising page!
This is a fun cyling event that helps feed our neighbors in need and end hunger in western Mass. by raising funds and awareness for The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts. Every dollar can provide four meals for a local family who needs them most. Contributions of any size to my efforts are appreciated. 100% of your donation (excepting unavoidable credit card fees) will go to support The Food Bank's mission. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you!
Last year, we had a virtual ride and I did 111 flat miles with support from some friends. This fall, as the pandemic winds down, WB4F is returning to a large group event, and so I'll get to ride the 101 hilly miles in a peloton the whole way. As much as I enjoyed biking with my friends last year, I'm looking forward going back to "normal." On the other hand, maybe some of you will sign up to bike yourselves.

Since 1982, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We distribute food to our member agencies in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. These independent pantries, meal sites and shelters are on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role helping individuals, families, seniors and children. Every $1 donated to The Food Bank can purchase 4 meals for a family who needs them most.
