Welcome to my fundraising page.
The Food Justice Bike Ride is a great example of how a Community can come together to support a worthwhile cause while having funn doing it. The funds raised through my participation in this ride will benefit the below poverty level families who acquire their food from Just Roots Farm (a non-profit 501c3 cooperative) using their participation in the Healthy Incetives Program which operates under SNAP (commonly know as the Food Stamp program). The total dollars raised will provide each family with a $100 credit toward the cost of their farm share. This is nutritious food which will help these families eat right while keeping our local non-profit farm operating. We hope to raise enough money to cover up to 100 families. All monies raised through fundraising and registration fees will go directly toward benefitting these families.
All contributions are most welcome.
