Thanks for visiting my Pack & Boots 5K fundraising page!
On July 4, 2021 I’ll be honoring the brave service men and women who defend our freedom by running the Veterans Count Pack & Boots 5K & 1 Mile Survival Run through downtown Portsmouth.
All proceeds of the race will benefit Veterans Count, the philanthropic arm of Easterseals Military & Veterans Services (MVS), which provides emergency financial assistance for service members, veterans and their families when no other resource is available.
Over the past 14 years, MVS has served more than 18,000 individuals for challenges including suicide risk, unemployment, homelessness, substance use disorders, legal concerns, and mental health issues, as well as providing emergency financial assistance for food, utilities, housing, transportation, fuel, and vehicle repair.
I hope you can make a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal. 100% of every dollar you give to my fundraising page will go directly to Veterans Count to help service members, veterans and their families. All contributions are tax deductible.

Pack & Boots 5K Road Race & 1 Mile Survival Run
The Pack & Boots 5K Road Race & 1 Mile Survival Run is an annual fundraising effort put on by Veterans Count, the philanthropic arm of Easterseals Military & Veterans Services. Participants are welcome to choose from four racing options: a certified 5K course, 1 mile survival run, both the 5K and survival run, Kids Fun Run. For those who can’t physically join us on July 4, you can do any of the options virtually!
Since 2007, Veterans Count, the philanthropic arm of Easterseals Military & Veterans Services (MVS), has provided critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available to service members, veterans and their families, to ensure their dignity, health, and overall well-being.
Through funds raised at Veterans Counts events, such as the Pack & Boots 5K Road Roace & 1 Mile Survival Run, MVS has provided services to more than 18,000 individuals for challenges including suicide risk, unemployment, homelessness, substance use disorders, legal concerns, and mental health issues, as well as emergency financial assistance for food, utilities, housing, transportation, fuel, and vehicle repair.
We continue to ensure that 90% of every net dollar raised for Veterans Count is spent to provide services and grow resources for NH service members, veterans and their families.
