Welcome to my fundraising page! I am very excited to raise funds toward a cause I believe in and I hope you are able to contribute. Over the next month I will be walking all over Franklin County to raise funds to support Franklin County Community Meals Program's work to alleviate hunger in our community. Walk-to-Thank
Join us throughout the month of July 2021 for FCCMP's Walk-to-Thank event to support our mission to work in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger in Franklin County.
Your role in this event is twofold - to help us shine a spotlight on the businesses in our community who have been instrumental in supporting us over the years, and to join our cause to alleviate hunger by raising funds towards your personal goal.
How to raise funds:
Start by registering for our event! Register online here on our event page, or register with us via 413-772-1033 | fccmp.ma@gmail.com. Next, set a personal fundraising goal and begin to collect pledges to reach it. Over the course of the month, share what you're up to with friends on social media, tagging us @FCCMP, get your friends or coworkers excited with some healthy competition, or ask your employer to match the funds you raise. Be creative! Walk as an individual or part of a team. Then, get moving in any way you want: walk, run, bike, scooter, any way you prefer to move!
Tracking pledges:
Sign up online to create a fundraising page through our event portal (Pledge Reg) tracking your walk and your fundraising progress or
Track pledges on paper, collecting cash and checks as you go
Where to walk:
The walk itself will take place anywhere across all 27 miles of scenic Franklin County, with pit stops along the way to help us thank the businesses we work with. We encourage everyone to plan routes in any of the cities and towns where our partners are located, to take an opportunity to stop by one of our sponsor businesses, and thank them for helping fight food insecurity in Franklin County. No maximum or minimum distances required for your walk!
Walk to win prizes:
Find our sponsor businesses in the map provided.
At each of our sponsor businesses you come across, stop and take a selfie, sharing on our social media event page (tagging both @FCCMP and the business).
Win prizes by seeing if you can find as many businesses as possible! The more businesses you help us thank, the more times you can enter a raffle to win a variety of prizes. (All participants will go home with a goodie bag.)
Finish your walk with us on Saturday, July 31st at the Greenfield High School track between 10-4pm. Drop off any final pledges, cash, checks, etc, finish your walk on the school track, collect your prizes, and learn more about FCCMP.

Franklin County Community Meals Program is a non-profit organization, founded in 1984. Our mission is to work in partnership with the community to alleviate hunger. The community we serve is people struggling with food insecurity across Franklin County. We serve anyone and everyone who comes to our door through our 3 community meal sites, 2 food pantries, and a mobile food bank. We do all of this by working in partnership with community task forces, hunger relief agencies, businesses, charities, foundations, and individuals to build a community of support for those in need of it.
