Every 90 minutes, someone is diagnosed with ALS. Every 90 minutes, someone dies from ALS. These people are not nameless, faceless numbers. They are parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, friends and teachers. Last year, my aunt Lea Anne was diagnosed with ALS. This year, she passed away from it. Nothing will bring her back, but we will continue to fundraise in her memory to support those diagnosed with this awful disease, and support their families through the caregiving process.

Join us for our 3rd Annual PedALS event!  This year the event will be all weekend long! 

The Bike Ride is on Saturday, Sept. 25th at the home of Phil Vanderlugt, 5630 Treebrook Dr NE Ada, MI 49301. 

The 1 Mile Walk & 5K will take place on Sunday, Sept. 26th at Dwight Lydell Park, 4040 Leyland Ave. NE Comstock Park, MI 49321. 

Your support not only raises awareness, but also provides ALS families with respite care, medical equipment, meals & deliveries, psychological and speech support, and many other services!

The vision of the Susan Mast ALS Foundation is to build a strong foundation to ensure all ALS patients and families have the much needed support, guidance and resources available to them today and years to come.  We strive to strengthen and build our relationships with community partners so we can continue our mission of providing excellent support to ALS patients, families and caregivers in all of West Michigan.
