Welcome to my teams fundraising page for the 9th annual Will Bike 4 Food! I started volunteering for the food bank/pantry about a year ago and have accumulated over 200 hours in that time. I've organized, weighted, and packed hundreds of pounds of food in the pantry. I've made new friends and heard stories of how the food pantry has helped them when they were in need. I enjoy working at the food pantry not only because I get to meet new people but also because I like that I can be a part of something so much bigger than myself and my time helps make a positive impact for the community around me.
When I saw this event I knew I needed to join. Not only is it another way for me to help and contributed to an organization that I have a passion for but it also includes bike riding which I love. I was able to get my Uncle and friend Dylan to join and now we're a team of three... "The three Cyclepaths looking to raise money and help our community while also having a good time doing what we love.. RIDING!! As a teen I'm not obligated to raise a minimum amount of money but I decided to still set a goal to raise $175 by the even date which is September 29th. Every $1 raised will provide 3 meals for a neighbor in need. Contributions of any size to my efforts are appreciated. It feels great to be a part of something bigger than yourself and I hope your able to partner with me to make a positive impact for our community. Thank you!

Since 1982, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We distribute food to our member agencies in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. These independent pantries, meal sites and shelters are on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role helping individuals, families, seniors and children. Every $1 donated to The Food Bank can purchase 4 meals for a family who needs them most.
