Two years ago, I was lucky to survive a severe, surprise cardiac arrest. Today—thanks to an amazing medical team and support from my family, friends, colleagues, and community—I am living a healthy life with a pacemaker. I have been able to return to cycling regularly. Last year, I took a 3-day, 180-mile cycling trip to celebrate the one-year anniversary of my recovery. This year, I am cycling for Bike Luck to raise money for Camp Luck, a local summer camp for kids with pediatric heart conditions. Camp Luck gives “heart kids” and their families a chance to enjoy outdoor activities with medical supervision. It is my honor to raise money for this ride. If you are in a position to give, I would greatly appreciate a contribution to my fund for this event. My $1,000 goal will help send two families to Camp Luck for the weekend. Many thanks for your support!
