Carolyn, Julia and I are riding in the Tour de Creme on May 21st to raise money for our beautiful bike path to finish the next phases through Marion. We love riding the bike path on our tandem and are especially excited about the latest section (finally) opened through Shining Tides beach. 2023 Mattapoisett Tour de Crème
The Mattapoisett Tour de Crème is not one, but three bicycle tours of the ice cream stands and creameries near the Buzzards Bay town of Mattapoisett, MA. Sponsored by the Friends of the Mattapoisett Rail Trail with the Mattapoisett Land Trust, proceeds support efforts to build a bike path to Marion and to improve trails on the Land Trust's preserves.

The Mattapoisett Land Trust, founded in 1974, preserve land to enrich the quality of life for present and future generations of Mattapoisett residents and visitors. Currently the MLT protects over 900 acres with forests, meadows, wetlands, salt marshes, vernal pools, beaches and barrier islands.
The Friends of the MAttapoisett Rail Trail is an all-volunteer organization that was founded in 1999 with the purpose of advocating and promoting the completion of Mattapoisett's portion of the federally funded South Coast Bikeway.
