Hi, I'm Evie Cavan, a 2nd grader at Wells Elementary School! I'm a big fan of dragons, Zelda, wolves, nature, hiking with my mom, and wrestling my dad!
Welcome to my fundraising page for Rett's Roost! I am very excited to raise money for a cause I believe in and hope you will join me. My brother Rett was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer as a baby. Sadly, I never got to meet him. The cancer took him away from our family the year before I was born on 2/22/15. I still miss him and feel like I know him. Rett will always be a big part of my life. And thankfully, we get to talk about him a lot because of Rett's Roost. I have attended all the retreats since the beginning (2 while in my mom's belly) and I love meeting other kids that have faced cancer or have lost a brother or sister. It makes me feel proud that my brother has such an amazing legacy with Rett's Roost. And I hope you know how important it is to me that you are donating to my Superhero fun run this year! Superhero 5K
The Superhero 5k benefits Rett's Roost and the true superheroes, the children and families who have experienced childhood cancer. Money raised from the 5k goes to providing meaningful retreats and community gatherings for the families to support each other. Come dressed as your favorite superhero for this special 5k that finished along the beach!
Prior to the 5k, there will be a Fun Run for children 2-8 years old on the beach!
