ASDivas of the Road
The ASDivas of the Road team includes a group of women passionate about supporting the Allentown School District community. We are school counselors and school psychologists who value the benefits and support that Community Bike Works offers students throughout the Lehigh Valley. We have seen first-hand how the program, recreational opportunities, leadership experiences, and mentorship enhances our students' academic, social, and career development.
Please donate to our team to support Community Bike Works and ensure continued services for our Lehigh Valley youth. We appreciate it -- not donation is too big or too small.
Community Bike Works Virtual Spin-a-thon 2021
Community Bike Works teaches life lessons through bicycles to the young people of the Lehigh Valley who could benefit most for over 25 years. Through our Earn a Bike and Junior Earn a Bike programs, we connect students with mentors and lessons in bike mechanics and safety. At the end of the program, students earn their bike and a helmet, and are invited to take part in our afterschool and summer enrichment programs.
Community Bike Works and Lehigh Valley Health Network work together to bring this virtual event to you every year. Riders compete for prizes for the most miles ridden and dollars raised in support of our bike mentoring programs. Over the past five years, the Spin-a-Thon has become a fun, engaging event for Bike Works' supporters to connect with each other and our students that we look forward to every year.
This year's Virtual Spin-a-Thon will take place from September 18 to October 3, you can earn your miles wherever and whenever you please to raise money for bike mentoring programs. This year we have partnered with Strava app based tracking software. Create a Strava account (for free) and link your account to your bikereg account. Strava will link up and track your miles automatically.
We're asking teams to raise a minimum of $200 per team member, or at least $1,000 per team.
