After a long July of healing from a crash during training for this event, I have decided to go ahead an compete in this great race After just 7 weeks from clavicle surgery I am feeling great.
This will be my second time up the mountain. This time I will be racing from the "Top Knotch Group" A group of riders with times in the top 20% over all from a previous year.
On Saturday, August 17, 2013 I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. The Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb is the largest annual fundraiser for Tin Mountain Conservation Center.
You can help me support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center, which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 32 years.
Thanks for any help towards this great organization.
