Hey everyone!
Once again, I have decided to resume my sadistic need to physically torture myself on my bicycle. On August 17th, I will be returning to Pinkham Notch, NH to compete in the Mt. Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb – a grueling, 7.6 mile climb, at an average grade of 12%, that often includes weather conditions ranging from sunshine to snow squalls… IN AUGUST!!!
Considered lunacy by most, it represents a unique opportunity for me to combine a passion for cycling and a commitment to conservation. The event is sponsored by the Tin Mountain Conservation Center. Located in Albany, NH, the center is committed to environmental education in local schools and the acquisition of timberland in the Conway and North Conway area to promote sustainable forest and wildlife management.
As always, any pledges would be greatly appreciated! It’s an opportunity to support a great organization without having to endure the mind-altering, leg-numbing ordeal – I’ll take care of that part. Since Tin Mountain is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, your pledges are tax deductible!
Thank you for your support!
-Matt
