Welcome to my Events for Good - JDRF ODRAM fundraising page!
I’m taking part in the 2024 ODRAM, along with hundreds of riders from around the world, to raise money for JDRF, the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.
Did you know T1D:
- Strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle.
- Occurs when the body’s immune system attacks and destroys the insulin-producing beta cells in the pancreas. Insulin is essential to turning food into energy.
- Requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
JDRF is working every day to change this. And every dollar I raise helps them continue to bring life-changing therapies from the lab to the community until a cure is found.

I will be riding across the entire state of Michigan. We'll be on our bikes and peddling (rain/shine) a total of 150 miles - in a day! You're probably asking yourself why, right? I'll tell you.
This is a ride that raises both awareness and money for the Juvenile Diabetes foundation. I'll be riding for friends and family who deal with the realities of diabetes every day. Did you know that diabetes is a leading cause of blindness worldwide? Did you know that adults with diabetes are twice as likely to die from heart disease or stroke? Did you know that half of all those with diabetes are undiagnosed?
This is where I need your help. Every donation helps - no matter the amount. Any monetary donation is welcome, and you also have the option to remain anonymous. I'll include the link in the comments.
