After a healthy pregnancy, I went into labor on the morning of July 11, 2023 and we couldn't have been more excited. After 7 hours of labor, Joey's heart rate declined rapidly and I was rushed into an emergency c-section. He was immediately placed on a ventilator and within a couple of hours we learned the heartbreaking news that Joey wasn't going to make it.
Our sweet boy, Joseph Michael passed away peacefully in our arms on July 12, 2023. To say the past 8 months have been difficult would be an understatement.
Empty Arms Bereavement was one of the many resources given to me. I contacted them, joined a support group, and have met an incredible group of Mamas facing the unthinkable.
I'm raising funds to help families (like ourselves) going through one of the hardest losses imaginable. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your contribution! <3
