I’ve decided to run the Manchester City Marathon in memory of my grandfather who was a proud WW II veteran. We lost my grandfather earlier this year. His birthday was November 12th and the race is November 10th so I thought it would be the perfect way to honor him. He would’ve been 98.
Manchester City Marathon
Sunday, November 10, 2024 marks the 18th annual running of the Manchester City Marathon. The marathon is a moderately challenging Boston Qualifier that takes runners on a scenic trip through the historic mill district of the Granite State’s largest city. Runners in the full and half marathon will enjoy a run that includes fabulous views of the Queen City, surrounding areas, and beautiful fall foliage. Since our formation in 2017, we have donated over $8 million to honor and support local, regional and national veteran support organizations that provide critical services to our Veterans.
