Please join our village.
On April 27, 2024, the Daly/Smith clan will be on campus at Boston College to participate in the Annual BC Race to Educate.
If you are in the neighborhood and fancy a run/walk on those marvelous hills of Newton, please join us on the day! We could use some help pushing the strollers :)
Caoimhe, Saoirse, and MJ will be running in the kids fun run at 9:15. Malik and I will be running the 5k pushing the strollers starting at 10am!
Free parking is available at both BC parking garages: Commonwealth Garage and Beacon Street. Even if you have to take a ticket to enter, the gates will be up when you leave.
All race proceeds support Saint Columbkille Partnership School to ensure that a high-quality education is available to all.
All contributions are tax deductible.
To register to run/walk, please visit www.bcracetoeducate.com and join team Daly/Smith. And please donate to our PledgeReg page if you can.
Thank you!
BC Race To Educate
The BC Race to Educate is a Boston College-sponsored 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run to benefit Saint Columbkille Partnership School. The race is held on campus at Boston College, beginning and ending in Alumni Stadium, and features entertainment, food and prizes in all age categories. Join the BC athletes, BC Pep Band and Baldwin the Eagle as we lace up our sneakers to celebrate Saint Cols!
Saint Columbkille Partnership School is a pre-K through Grade 8 Catholic school located in Brighton, MA. Since 1901, Saint Columbkille has been a mainstay within its surrounding community, and has educated children for many generations. In 2018, Saint Columbkille Partnership School was designated as a laboratory school of Boston College's Lynch School of Education and Human Development.
Saint Cols now serves more than 400 students with more than 42 percent receiving financial aid. The BC Race to Educate is our annual fundraiser to support Saint Columbkille Partnership School to give all students access to a high-quality Catholic education.
