I'm running for CVIM!
Centre Volunteers in Medicine (CVIM) provides medical and dental care to the uninsured living or working in Centre County. I've been running to support their mission since 2007. That's a lot of miles and a lot of money that goes straight to providing healthcare to people who can't afford it. Learn more about CVIM HERE.
You can support my run by making a donation to help me reach my goal of $1,000 and our overall goal of raising $40,000 for CVIM.
I ran my first Boston Marathon in 2007 to raise money for CVIM, inspired by my friend John Domico who organized a "Marathoners for Medicine" team. I went on to run a race every year since for CVIM, including two virtual half marathons during COVID. (I got all of my COVID vaccines thanks to CVIM, too!) And now I am part of the organizing committee for the Nittany Valley Half-Marathon, which benefits CVIM, and the coordinator of the Run for CVIM Challenge.

Nittany Valley Half Marathon
First run in 1984 as part of the final running of the Nittany Valley Marathon, the Nittany Valley Half Marathon has since blossomed into one of the region’s most popular road races, drawing several hundred runners each year. Over the past decade and beyond, Centre Volunteers in Medicine has been the beneficiary for the Nittany Valley Half Marathon.
