On Saturday, August 17, 2024, I will bike up Mount Washington, a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. What I am about to undertake, many consider the steepest cycling race in the world.  This event will certainly be a ride of a lifetime, one that I am training for and optimistic on reaching my goal time but let's wait until afterwards to see what I think!

This is a personal challenge I've set for myself but there comes with it the chance to support a great environmental organization, Tin Mountain Conservation Center (TMCC), which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers, and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 34 years. The mission of Tin Mountain Conservation Center is to promote an appreciation of the natural environment among children, adults, and families through hands on programs in schools, camps, and the community and to demonstrate responsible stewardship of natural resources through land protection, research, and sustainable forestry, agriculture, and energy.

Please consider helping me support the TMCC with a donation of any size.

Also, please check in after the event to make sure my legs are still attached to my body!

P.S. For a sample of some of the work TMCC does with students, link to TMCC YouTube Channel.
