"THIS CAR CLIMBED MT. WASHINGTON" is one of the most widely seen bumper stickers in the New England area. Where, driving your car up Mt. Washington (a steep and windy 6,285 ft summit) is considered a great feat for an automobile and the driver.

Let's do that on a bicycle.

On August 17 I will bike up Mount Washington in a 7.6 mile all-uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States. It is consider one of the steepest cycling races to reach the 6,285 ft summit. Otherwise, the mountain is closed to cycling throughout the year. So it is a very unique opportunity to try to bike up it. You can find me training on Strava: https://www.strava.com/athletes/31949701

Fund raising is part of the race, for the Tin Mountain Conservation Center (TMCC), which has provided environmental education to over 75,000 students, campers, and individuals throughout schools and communities in Northern New Hampshire and western Maine for over 34 years. For sample of some of the work TMCC does with students, link to TMCC YouTube Channel.

Any contributions to the fundraising to support my ride and TMCC would be greatly appreciated!
