Hi My name is Elena, and a a very active racer in Cyclecross, road and MTB. Over the years I have been racing cyclocross events around the Northeast, and last year, raced in the USCX series (Rochester, Cham City and Really Rad). Unfortunately this year one of the events is moved out of the Northeast and and making it harder to race junior girls on top level. Therefore I am hoping to make it to events out of the North East, to complete against top level junior girls, so we all can get better and hopefully one day be competitive on a international level in Europe.
Please help support my goals and bring womans cycling to the best level possible.
Race fast and have Fun Elena.
The JAM Fund is proud to award grants to young cyclists who show enthusiasm, determination and desire to be their best. It's also our goal to showcase some of the amazing cycling that the Pioneer Valley offers! Every dollar raised through the Fundo goes directly to the JAM Fund. We couldn't help others without your help. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Fundo, and thanks for your generous support!
JAM Fund Grand Fundo at the Cummington Fairgrounds
This year's GRAND FUNDO is Sunday, July 14, 2024. Thank you for your generosity and supporting the JAM Fund program!
Enjoy camping at the fairgrounds, music, food and of course, our incredible bike rides! New this year is our waterslide! We can't wait to try it out! Dust off your tent and camping gear and join us on Saturday night at the fairgrounds. We'll have a shakeout ride and swim on Saturday afternoon as well. On Sunday, we'll have staging by the fairground bleachers at 8:45 a.m. and roll out at 9:00 a.m.
The routes are mostly gravel and double track. We suggest 40c tires and 1:1 for a climbing gear minimum. Bring a bathing suit and take a dip in the sweet rivers and lakes along the routes.
Each year, the JAM Fund provides grants to developing cyclists who demonstrate a commitment to the sport and show enthusiasm to do their best. The grant comes in the form of financial and/or equipment support and may also include professional training. Any cyclist between the age of 10 and 28 may apply. JAM Fund is looking for passionate cyclists who are interested in becoming better people on and off the bike. We encourage young people to be community stewards and good members of society while we support their dreams. Perhaps they will move through the ranks and work toward joining our fully-supported JAM Fund Cycling Team. Grant applicants are not required to race. They just need to love bikes or really want to try one. Our program is growing and we are proud to have more than doubled the number of grants from 13 in 2016 to 35 in 2018. We distribute the grants during our July Grand Fundo, and grant recipients are required to attend. Recipients will gain free entry to the event. We thank our donors and supporters that allow us to have such a successful development program.
