70 for 70
As I turn 70 this month, I'll be riding 70 kilometers to fundraise for the Boys and Girls Club of Brattleboro.
The Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro is a vital community asset for our youth. They provide a place AND trusted people for our youth to go to. To support their efforts- Please support the club!
This fundraiser allows the club doors to remain open for all youth in our community, regardless of their ability to pay. No one is turned away from summer camp, after school programming, or teen club activities. We are committed to serving the most vulnerable in our community and cannot do it without your support! Our riders and donors have a huge impact on the Club's ability to provide a safe, supportive, and fun environment for every kid in our community.
Thank you for any support you can provide.

2024 Going The Distance
This is the 15th year of Going the Distance! This annual bike ride raises much needed funds to support the Boys & Girls Club of Brattleboro.
The pavement rides are 40, 60, or 75 miles in distance, supported by rest areas in Turners Falls and Greenfield as well as a support vehicle. These rides travel down Route 142 through Vernon and enters Massachusetts, continuing on beautiful country roads until the first rest stop in Turners Falls. From there the 40-mile riders return to Brattleboro, while those on the 60 & 75 mile rides continue through more gorgeous country roads, with the second rest stop along the Green River in Greenfield, MA where lunch is provided. The final leg of the ride brings you back to the Club, where a celebration awaits at our NEYT After Party!
We also have new cycling challenges available this year, the 27.5 and 38.4 mile Gravel and Gravel Plus Routes through Dummerston and Putney. Again, support vehicles, rest stops, and lunch is provided before the final leg also brings you back to the Club and our After Party at NEYT!
