On October 23 I'm joining my friend Glenn to run the 48 mile Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim route in Arizona to support research to cure Alzheimer's Disease.  My run will be part of AlzRun, a team of people from all over the country running challenging and magnificent trails to raise money for Cure Alzheimer's Fund.

The funds we raise will go directly to Cure Alzheimer's Fund. I am impressed by how much they have contributed to our understanding of Alzheimer’s.  They direct 100% of donations toward high-impact research. Our contributions will make a difference!

AlzRun is a team of trail runners motivated to raise money and awareness to stop Alzheimer's, state after state, across the entire country. For those of us with loved ones affected by Alzheimer's, often spanning families and generations, finding a cure is the goal, and raising money for Cure Alzheimer's Fund is something we can do. 

Our understanding of Alzheimer's has advanced profoundly in the last decade, but we still lack treatments to prevent or stop the disease.  Through your donations, and donations from people like you across the country, we are hoping to get over the line to a new era of safe and effective treatments.
