I'm so excited to be raising funds for the YMCA Cape Cod during the Second Summer Cycle! I'll be riding the [ enter X mile ride ], and hoping to raise $500 for the Y's good work in our community, including free healthy meal distribution, affordable childcare and camp, and many chronic disease management programs. YMCA - Second Summer Cycle
The Second Summer Cycle is the perfect event for riders of all levels, offering a picturesque journey through 8 historic Cape Cod towns and a strong commitment to rider safety. Four distances are being offered, 15, 33, 64, and 104 miles. The start and finish is at beautiful Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth. You will be able to dance to the music of a great local band.. you will have $30.00 in vouchers to use at food and beverage trucks as part of your registration fee to purchase food or beverages from 4 different food trucks, to include cold beverages provided by Barnstable Brewing Company, with Second Summer Cycle cans as memorabilia!
Starts and Finishes:
All of the starts and finishes will be at Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth.
Changing your clothes at the finish,:
If you wish to change your clothes at the finish, changing rooms will be provided.
Hydration and Nutrition:
Ample hydration and nutrition stops will be strategically positioned along the course, along with medical and physical therapy stations equipped with tents and tables to ensure participants' comfort and well-being. The Hydration and Nutrition stops will be approximately every 15 miles.
Medical and Physical Therapy:
There will medical and physical therapy support at the Hydration and Nutrition stops.

Hosted by: Second Summer Cycle, LLC, a 501c3, non-profit organization.
Twenty five Cape Cod non-profit organizations will benefit from the monies generated by the riders, each of whom is asked to raise at least $250 for their non-profit of choice, or to be disseminated across all 19 charities, in addition to the registration fee.
Beneficiaries: All money raised by the riders will be paid directly to the beneficiaries. Riders are expected to raise at least $250.00 each, and each beneficiary team is expected to raise $5,000.00.
Registration Pricing, there are discounts if you register early:
- Century Plus (104): $125.00
- Metric Century Plus (64 miles): $95.00
- 33 Mile Ride: $80.00
- 15 Mile Ride: $60.00
Safety: We will have marshalls at every turn, we will have police or flaggers at every major intersection or left hand turn, we will have Hydration and Nutrition stops at approximately every 15 miles along with medical personnel and physical therapists.
Support services: Bike shops will be represented along the course to help with any technical issues. There will also be SAG vehicles to help riders who need it.
