Welcome to our fundraising page for BRAT (Bike Ride Across Tennessee). This six-day bicycle ride in September is hosted and staffed by the Tennessee State Park Rangers and will start and finish in Montgomery Bell State Park. I completed BRAT in 2017, and it left a lasting impression! All proceeds from our registration payment and fundraising will go to the Tennessee State Parks Association.
Thank you for any amount that you are able to give!
Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee
The Bicycle Ride Across Tennessee (BRAT) is dedicated to providing the best bike tour in the US. The BRAT is like no other ride you'll ever participate in, it is sponsored by Tennessee State Parks with a goal of introducing people to parks and the beauty that Tennessee has to offer. The special thing about this ride is Tennessee Park Rangers work the entire event! From setting up registration, marking routes, providing safety on the routes with blue lights, helping at SAG stops, and even providing educational programs after the daily rides. 100% of the funds go to non-profit organizations that support Tennessee State Parks and their Rangers. The main benefactors are The Cumberland Trail, which will be the first through trail in TN, and the Tennessee Park Rangers Association!
The Tennessee Park Rangers Association's mission is. "To promote professionalism and raise hiring standards, improve communications, upgrade working conditions, support and participate in active training programs, and champion common concerns among the members of the Tennessee Park Rangers Association and those individuals representing Tennessee State Parks."
