The Run With The Wild 5k/10k hosted annually in Hood River, OR is all about supporting our wildland firefighters. My ultimate goal is to get in better shape and run the Cascade Lakes Relay in June, but this 10k will help me keep in race shape and is for a great cause!
Prior to the event, we have the chance to raise as much money as we can. 100% of your donation goes to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation to help our wounded firefighters & support families of the fallen.
Run With The Wild
Join us for the 3rd Annual Run With The Wild 5k, a community-oriented 5k and 10k run/walk that is suitable for individuals of all ages, families, and even our furry friends! This event will be held in the beautifully scenic Columbia River Gorge, commencing at the Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead. This paved route is ADA accessible, allowing for wheelchairs and strollers, and offers breathtaking views of the river and mountains along the way. 100% of proceeds for this event are donated directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. Additionally, a silent auction an event drawing will be held - enter for your chance to win amazing prizes from local PNW businesses.

Our firefighters are exposed to physical, mental and emotional challenges each and every day in the field while protecting us, our property, and our land. 100% of proceeds from your participation are donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. The Wildland Firefighter Foundation’s main focus is to help families of firefighters killed in the line of duty and to assist injured firefighters and their families.
