Thank you for checking out my fundraising page. I am Cindy Horgan I am the Director of Family Support Services for Cape Cod Children's Place. I believe that every family has promise and the ability to reach their full potential. I have been supporting families throughout Cape Cod for over 20 years. I know this is the hardest and most important job you can ever do. That being said in a world that can challenge the best of us from economics to being overwhelmed with information from technology families often struggle to find there way. Cape Cod Children's Place works to remove barriers and provide support not that we rescue families but we walk with them on this journey. From the single parent feeling alone, to the parents of a newborn looking for the manual of how to do this. Cape Cod Children's Place is there for them.
Each day as I train and ride the roads of Cape Cod I reflect on the work we do and its impact. Every dollar we raise will make a difference for families.

Cape Cod's Second Summer Cycle
A Charity Ride Benefitting 19 Cape Cod Non-Profit Organizations
The Second Summer Cycle is the perfect event for riders of all levels, offering a picturesque journey through 11 historic Cape Cod towns and a strong commitment to rider safety. Three distances are being offered, 33, 69, and 100 miles with the final stop being a celebration at Motta Field in beautiful Provincetown. Dance to the music of Sarah Swain and the Oh Boys, use your $30 worth of vouchers provided as part of your registration to purchase food from 4 different food trucks, to include cold beverages provided by Barnstable Brewing Company, with Second Summer Cycle cans as memorabilia!
Nineteen Cape Cod non-profit organizations will benefit from the monies generated by the riders, each of whom is asked to raise at least $250 for their non-profit of choice, or to be disseminated across all 19 charities, in addition to the registration fee.
Ample hydration and nutrition stops will be strategically positioned along the course, along with medical and physical therapy stations equipped with tents and tables to ensure participants' comfort and well-being.

Hosted by: Second Summer Cycle, LLC, a 501c3, non-profit organization.
Beneficiaries: All money raised by the riders will be paid directly to the beneficiaries. Riders are expected to raise at least $250.00 each, and each beneficiary team is expected to raise $5,000.00.
Pricing:
- Century (100 miles): $125.00
- Metric Century Plus (69 miles): $95.00
- 33 Mile Ride: $80.00
Return to the starts: Bus transportation will be provided back to the starts along with trucks for your bikes. If you wish, you may have someone meet you at the finish line, where they may purchase a $30 packet of food truck vouchers to be used at Motta Field. Bus transportation back to the starts costs $20.00 per person, which includes both bus and bike transportation. The bikes will be in a separate vehicle.
Safety: We will have marshals at every turn to help guide riders, and motorcyclists will be patrolling the entire course.
Support services: Bike shops will be represented along the course to help with any technical issues. There will also be SAG vehicles to help riders who need support or a pickup along the course.

Cape Cod Children's Place (CCCP) advocates for the Cape and Islands future by building resilience, strengths and skills in children and families. CCCP is family support, early childhood education and community engagement.
Sharing Kindness' (SK) mission: sharing kindness through empathy, education and courageous conversation to raise suicide awareness, promote mental health education and provide free peer grief support across the Cape and Islands.
