I have worked for the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia serving Hampton Roads for five years. I have seen the challenges that people with epilepsy face in their personal lives, at work and at school. Through support groups, financial assistance for medication and transportation, advocacy, pubic education, camps for children and art therapy, the EFVA works to reduce the many burdens carried by individuals living with seizure disorders. Because the EFVA is a nonprofit organization, every year we must try to raise the funds necessary to continue our mission. Your donation to our Hampton Roads Heroes is very much appreciated!
