My daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy 3 years ago when she was 6 years old. She has multiple seizure types with the most difficult to deal with being “sunflower syndrome” where her seizures are caused by sunlight. There currently is not treatment for this type of epilepsy. We are currently in the process of having a seizure response dog trained to help her & give us peace of mind when she is not in our presence. I ride for her & the other children who live with seizures each day!
