For a second year I have signed up to bike 25 miles in the ERRACE event ~ "Everyone Ride/Run Against Cancer Everyday." The event is on Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Avon, CT and my son Tyler and his girlfriend, Kathleen, will be riding along side me this year under the team name "Cycle 'Cause We Care."
The ERRACE organization was created by a group of professionals with common goals, mainly to raise the awareness of cancer, raise funds for cancer research and to inspire the community to be active and health conscious. 100% of the proceeds benefit the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Institute of Avon and the Livestrong Foundation.
After fighting a long and couragious battle, I lost my brother to cancer and I've watched multiple family members and close friends struggle with the diagnosis and the treatments to overcome this disease. I am doing what I can to help find a cure for this devistating disease. ERRACE—Everyone Ride/Run Against Cancer Everyday, is a one-day event will held at the Avon Cancer Center on Saturday, July 8, 2017and will include a 25, 50, or 100-mile bike ride, 15 mile mountain bike ride and a 5 run/walk. The beneficiaries are the Hartford Hospital Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center of Avon, and the LiveStrong Foundation.

We bring together our expertise from multiple aspects of business management, healthcare, community work, fund-raising and athletic endeavors. We are excited to share a fun, safe and inspiring event with the community for years to come.
