Thanks very much for visiting my King Challenge fundraising page!
It's hard to believe we're now on year nine of the King Challenge. Nine years ago feels like ages. Sixteen years ago feels like a lifetime ago, but that's when dad had his stroke. March 23, 2003 to be exact. I remember where I was when I received the phone call and I remember the paralyzed feeling that shot through me. Every day presents its challenges, but my Mom and Dad have slowly figured out a routine that works.
Brain injuries are truly awful things. They change lives and tear families apart. But the King Challenge raises incredibly important funds for the Krempels Center, which provides support for those living with brain injury as well as their care-givers. It means the world to me to support the Krempels Center in any way possible. This event is the best way the King family can!
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts.
Many thanks for your support - and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
