This year's Will Bike for Food fundraiser means even more to me for two reasons. First because during this pandemic, access to food has become even more challenging for so many folks and the Food Bank is even more critical to their survival. Second, 6 months ago I tore my Achilles tendon and was sure if I wouldn't even be able to ride a bike this year. But I can and I will! If you can, please help me raise money for the Food Bank. Christy and I are planning to ride a 25 mile loop (not bad for a guy who was on crutches and not even able to walk not all that long ago) and, since we are not tied to a specific route, add in a hike up Mt. Sugarloaf and a swim at the end across the street in the Connecticut River, so we're making it a Tri!
Every $1 can provide 4 meals for a local family who needs them most. Contributions of any size to my efforts are appreciated. 100% of your donation will go to support The Food Bank's mission (unavoidable credit card fees notwithstanding). All donations are tax deductible. Thank you!

Since 1982, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We distribute food to our member agencies in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. These independent pantries, meal sites and shelters are on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, playing a crucial role helping individuals, families, seniors and children. Every $1 donated to The Food Bank can purchase 4 meals for a family who needs them most.
