Welcome to my fundraising page!
I am excited to be raising funds for an organization that I am passionate about.
Refugees, foster children, older adults, and families in poverty can greatly benefit from your generosity.
There are ongoing needs for diapers, sheets, hygiene and cleaning supplies, laptops for the K-12 program and much more!
- Did you know that diapers and/or incontinence supplies cost an average of $100 per month? Too many of our neighbors lack access to this basic need that is so important to health and wellbeing.
- Foster children and refugees often arrive in a new home without the basics, while others simply can't afford to replace worn and threadbare sheets. We also use sheets for our I-HELP host sites, giving people experiencing homelessness a safe night’s sleep.
Thank you for any amount that you can contribute to my efforts!
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest
Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest is a 501(c)3 non-profit that depends on the generosity of individuals to create community for the most vulnerable and marginalized in the Arizona regions we serve. Your support has a tangible, positive impact on the lives of people in our community.
Our supporters have helped:
Refugees who arrive in Arizona begin their lives in furnished apartments.
Foster children who leave their homes with nothing can get started in a safe and loving home.
Older adults on a limited income have the personal hygiene and cleaning supplies they need to live happily and healthily.
Families visiting the food pantry or family resource center can get a bus pass or gas card to help get to a job interview or doctor's appointment.
Lutheran Social Services mission is to stabilize people during crisis and transition, build a foundation where people can thrive, and preserve dignity and respect for the most vulnerable. Our Aging & Disability services help to prevent older adults and people with disabilities from experiencing isolation, loneliness, and health risks, so that they can live safely in their homes and within their communities. Through our Refugee Resettlement program, we we resettle the world’s most vulnerable neighbors fleeing war, violence, and persecution. Services include resettlement, immigration, employment assistance, K-12 refugee education services, youth mentorship, and women’s empowerment. Our Children & Family Services build strong families to help children grow in safe and loving families through a comprehensive range of services that include adoption, child and family workshops, community education, Family Resource Centers, and foster care. Our Emergency Services relieve hunger and homelessness for neighbors facing extreme poverty. This includes our Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program (I-HELP), food pantries, rent & utility assistance, SNAP assistance, health insurance outreach and enrollment, and disaster preparedness.
