2020 has been quite a year.
It's not the year anyone imagined for sure. It has been full of personal & professional challenges that have thrown us all through a loop. Not being able to ride or race our bikes in groups because it would be too much of a health risk was not on anyone's radar for sure. Not being able to even hug our friends? An absurd thought.
However, even though we cannot come together on the day of the event, we can make the best of this opportunity to celebrate the 10th year of the King Challenge ride by joining forces to fundraise & help support the Krempels Center. The Krempels Center provides valuable services, including virtual programming during the COVID-19 Pandemic. I have had the opportunity to meet Krempels Center members & staff, as well as participate in fireside chats. They are a unique & critical resource right in our backyard. They do an amazing job to improve the lives of people living with brain injury.
This will be my 8th year being involved as either a volunteer or a rider for the King Challenge, and I hope you will consider a donation if you are in a position to be able to do so this year.
Team Info!!
Team Unity is open to anyone who wants to join. We encourage you to post about your King Challenge training, take pictures during your ride & share a video clip toast at the end! Share your journey with us on social media, and lets celebrate the opportunity to come together to support an amazing local resource in our community.
The Velocio Unity jersey will be our team "kit", although not required to join the team of course!
