I'm back at it, raising money for the Krempels Center with our ride, the King Challenge!
The King Challenge, raises money in support of the Krempels Center, a nonprofit organization named for the generous founder, David Krempels, who had a vision of helping other people who had suffered a brain injury as he had. The Krempels Center is central in my father's life, after surviving a debilitating stroke 17 years ago, and is very important to the hundreds of other KC members. The Krempels Center provides post-rehabilitation day programs, creates a welcoming social network, provides purpose, training, and friendship, and serves as important training for occupational therapy students at University of NH. This place is amazing, and I don't know where my dad or family would be without it.
Many thanks from me, my family, and members of the Krempels Center!
P.S. The attached photo is 2006, early post-stroke days, at our hometown Exeter Criterium. To this day, Dad still is our #1 cheerleader.
