On November 7, 2021 I’ll be honoring the brave service men and women AND our first responders who defend our freedom by running the Manchester Marathon.
All proceeds of the race will benefit Veterans Count, a program of Easterseals, which provides emergency financial assistance for service members, veterans and their families when no other resource is available.
All proceeds of the race will benefit Veterans Count, the philanthropic arm of Easterseals Military & Veterans Services (MVS), which provides financial assistance for services for service members, veterans and their families when no other resource is available.
Over the past 15 years, MVS, with financial support from Veterans Count, has served more than 17,500 individuals suicide risk, unemployment, homelessness, substance misuse, legal concerns, and mental health issues. MVS supports families through a Care Coordination model and provides financial assistance for food, utilities, housing, transportation, fuel, and vehicle repair, and more!

Manchester City Marathon
Sunday, November 7, 2021 marks the 15th annual running of the Manchester City Marathon. The marathon is a moderately challenging Boston Qualifier that takes runners on a scenic trip through the historic mill district of the Granite State’s largest city. Runners in the full and half marathon will enjoy a run that includes fabulous views of the Queen City, surrounding areas, and beautiful fall foliage. Mark your calendars and join us for the 15th Annual Manchester City Marathon, Half Marathon, 5k, and Relays on Sunday!
Veterans Count, provides critical and timely financial assistance and services when no other resource is available, assisting them in accessing eligible benefits and services, housing, counseling services, and other needs to build sustainable, secure, and viable futures. We are committed to ensuring the dignity, health, and overall well-being of every service member, veteran, and family we serve.
Veterans Count continues to ensure approximately 90% of every net dollar raised is spent to provide services and grow resources for NH veterans, service members and their families.
In 2007, Veterans Count was developed in partnership with Easterseals NH (ESNH), the NH National Guard, and the NH Dept. of Health and Human Services. The program provides services and resources to veterans of all eras and their families. Veterans Count Care Coordinators work with individuals and families to create a care plan toward self-sufficiency.
