Hello friends and family!
It's that time again...time to start getting ready for the VT100 Endurance Race 2022 edition! Participating in the VT100 is a challenge that I look forward to meeting every year, and 2022 is going to be even more special. While we haven't been able to physically meet in the meadow at the start line for the last 2 years, we sure have still worked hard to fundraise for an amazing charity, Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports...and we have YOU to thank for that! Even though we didn't get to run the VT100 in 2020 & 2021, Vermont Adaptive continued to provide services and programs for their athletes over those last couple of crazy Covid years. I'm super happy to say THANK YOU to all of you who donated on my behalf in 2020 and 2021...and super proud to say that all of the funds we raised in those years were donated directly to VASS to be used when they needed it most. It felt pretty awesome to still be able to contribute to the efforts of Vermont Adaptive, and I know it mattered a TON to the athletes that benefited from your generosity!
What is Vermont Adaptive? Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports provides sports and recreational programs in addition to wellness and environmental retreats to people with disabilities. Their programs are offered to people of all ages, with a variety of disabilities. Programs include skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing and Nordic in the winter; and sailing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, horseback riding, and more in the warmer months.
This is the charity I put all of my passion into, literally putting my mileage in to help others enjoy what I often take for granted in the great outdoors. I would be so grateful to you for any support you can share!
Please consider donating what you can to help me reach my goal and help Vermont Adaptive meet their goal too! Thank you so much!
Happy (s)miles,
Maria :)
