Dear Friends and Family,
I'm inviting you to team up with me and help make a difference!
Many of you know, I was an avid cyclist and raced for the UC Davis Cycling Team as an undergraduate. Now I have come full circle; I'm faculty with the Department of Ob/Gyn at the UC Davis Medical Center and getting my cycling legs back in shape to participate in the annual Crush Challenge August 27 with Team UC Davis.
Why am I doing this?
Crush Challenge is a fundraiser, benefiting: 1) deLeuze Family Charitable Foundation in support of Dr. Tuscano’s research for a non-toxic cure for lymphoma 2) the UC Davis Health Comprehensive Cancer Center and 3) The Teen Center at Boys and Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.
I hope you will consider sponsoring me and donate what you can as I train in the Sacramento heat for the 25 mile course.
Thank you for your support! Go Ags!
Susan P. Gorman
Crush Challenge // August 27, 2022
Crush Challenge, hosted by the deLeuze Family Charitable Foundation and ZD Wines, is an unparalleled event in the Napa Valley, bringing together people from all over the country to join us in supporting our beneficiaries: UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Teen Center at Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.
Experience the beauty of Napa Valley on a private cycling excursion (17-, 25-, or 37-mile options) that will depart from Veterans Memorial Park in Yountville. Enjoy a “rest stop” at ZD Wines in Rutherford to imbibe in the barrel tasting and food bites.
Following the ride, indulge in the all-inclusive Food & Wine Garden with live music paired with delicious food and wine from Napa Valley restaurants and wineries to round out the afternoon.
Crush Challenge was established in 2014 as a way to showcase the best of Napa Valley while bringing awareness and funding to a select group of worthy charities.
We welcome you to join on August 26 to enjoy a harvest day in the beautiful Napa Valley while helping our deserving beneficiaries: UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Teen Center at Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley. 100% of our net proceeds will go to these charities.
The deLeuze Family Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
