Thank you for visiting my Tour of the Litchfield Hill (ToLH) fundraisign page.
I began riding the ToLH in 2020...1 year after my sister Betsy formed 'Team Joe' to ride the 2019 ToLH in my honor becuase I'd recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. I was fortunate enough to have excellent health care coverage, have access to a world class cancer treatment center at Dana Farber and have the support of an amazing network of friends and family. I also had a treatable kind of cancer...Acute Lymphoblastic Leukema (ALL). No guarantees, but there was a chance I could beat cancer. It turns out I'm one of the lucky few who did.
The simple truth is that not everyone has all the advantages I did (health care coverage, access to DFCI, awesome support network). Without those, I wouldn't have made it. It's for this reason that I ride the ToLH. I rode the 55-mile route in 2020 and 2021. This year, I'm going to push myself to ride 75 miles (and 5,000' vertical!!!) to help raise funds for cancer care.
I ask that you join me in helping those with cancer get the treatment they need. Please do this by making a donation now in an amount you can afford...no matter what that amount is. Every little bit helps. On behalf of the cancer victims your donation will help, I thank you.
With kind regards and immense grattitude for your support,
Joe Cracco
