"This is the third year I'm going to do the Point to Point bike ride. This year, I'm going to bike 30 miles with my family, as long as their back and legs aren't hurt. At the Point to Point party, I might bike the 10 mile ride too.
My goal is to raise more than I did the first year. I know it is going to be really hard, but I'm going to share this a lot. I also helped with a Point to Point video and I'm hoping some people might see that and donate or join. It would be really tricky for me not to have safe food with my allergies, so I think its good to make sure everyone has food. Oh, I also think I'm going to sell chocolate covered banana popsicles and lemonade to raise more money.
Thank you!
Ollie"
The Point to Point
The Point to Point, powered by VSECU, is an annual event that raises money for the Vermont Foodbank. Help us end hunger in Vermont by registering or donating today! Join us at the State House Lawn in Montpelier on Saturday, September 23. There will be music, local food trucks, games, and fun for the entire family. Together, we can provide over 172,500 meals for our neighbors in need.
Each year, as many as 153,000 Vermonters are in need of emergency food assistance. As part of our mission to improve Vermonters’ quality of life, VSECU has been involved in the annual Point to Point fundraiser for the Vermont Foodbank for many years, before adopting the event in 2018. All told, the Point to Point has raised over $2 million in the effort to ensure that no one in Vermont goes hungry.
