Welcome to my fundraising page for Rett's Roost! I am very excited to raise money for a cause I believe in and hope you will join me.
Owen East was a wild and mischievous little boy who loved all superheros. His favorites were Iron Man, Buzz Lightyear and Sonic. He passed away in June of 2023 after battling brain cancer bravely for 2 years.
We created the team Owen's Avengers for Rett's Roost Superhero 5k because we know it is an event Owen would have loved. We'd love for you to don your capes and join us on October 22nd or help us fundraise for a great local organization that supports families of children battling or passed from cancer.
Superhero 5K
The Superhero 5k benefits Rett's Roost and the true superheroes, the children and families who have experienced childhood cancer. Money raised from the 5k goes to providing meaningful retreats and community gatherings for the families to support each other. Come dressed as your favorite superhero for this special 5k that finished along the beach!
Prior to the 5k, there will be a Fun Run for children 2-8 years old on the beach!
