Hey Everyone! I can't believe it but it's that time of year again...the time of year when I completely crush Ari in the Hot Chocolate Run :)
Thanks again to all of you who so generously supported my efforts last year. I don't do many of these races but this is one that I really feel strongly about participating in every December because I think Safe Passage is such an important community resource. I feel so lucky to be a part of a safe and loving relationship but for many people, for many different reasons, this happy little bubble doesn't exist. To have access to help so that women and children can escape violent or abusive situations is so important and I invite you to help me generate some funds to put towards this great cause.
Here are some ways Safe Passage will put your gift to work:
$25: Resources, support and hope for a woman calling the 24-hour hotline
$75: Safe transportation for a family traveling to Safe Passage’s emergency shelter
$80: A drop-in support group session for survivors of domestic violence
$140: Education for parents on talking with their kids about domestic violence
$500: Healing counseling for a child who has witnessed violence
All contributions are tax-deductible, and you’ll receive an emailed receipt immediately after you donate. Don't feel pressured to make any preset contribution, any little bit helps.
You can make a difference for families affected by domestic violence.
